Workaround

Utilize the Append Data (Spatial Overlay) Analysis to add demographic data to an existing Trade Area.

1. Create your Trade Area without creating reports.

2. Select the Business Analyst menu > Analysis.

3. Create New Analysis > Market Analysis > Append Data (Spatial Overlay).

a. Input Data Layer: Standard Business Analyst Data (or custom BDS layer).

b. Which layer inherits the data: the previously created Trade Area.

c. Select variables (2010 Total Population, etc.).

d. Finish the wizard.
