When creating a new project while working in an existing project in Esri Business Analyst Online, the new project's layers are cleared in Project Manager sidebar (Table of Contents), but the new project still displays the old project's data and map extent in the map viewer.

Workaround

In order to get rid of the existing geography site and to have the project seem like a brand new project, clear out items of the new project by selecting the Clear Map button that is located in the right-hand sidebar. Select the existing geography site then click Clear.
