Bug
When creating a custom basemaps (in NAD83) in ArcGIS Pro and applying it to ArcGIS Online layer, going back and forth between WGS84 and the custom basemaps in ArcGIS Field Maps generates an error, where the custom basemap is no longer supported on the app.

This issue is non-reproducible in ArcGIS Online June 2024 release and, ArcGIS Field Maps 24.2.2 (Android) and 24.2.1 (iOS) releases.Workaround
Create a map in ArcGIS Pro with a basemap in NAD83. Share the map as a web map and build the project as usual in ArcGIS Online by adding the various layers (in NAD83) to be used.
To change the basemap, upload a new NAD83 tile package either to ArcGIS Online or to your device, and change the basemap in the new map.
