When creating a 9.3 personal geodatabase using the Create Personal GDB geoprocessing tool in ArcCatalog 10.0 and then storing any data with an unprojected/ undefined coordinate system in the 9.3 personal geodatabase, the data will open in ArcGIS 9.3, but will only zoom to a certain extent before disappearing.
