Bug

When configuring a custom attribute expression within the attribute data of a hosted feature layer within Portal for ArcGIS 10.6 Map Viewer, Arcade expressions, 'Length(Geometry($feature))' and 'Area(Geometry($feature))' do not properly display attribute value within the pop-up of the hosted feature layer or within the attribute table of the hosted feature layer within the Map Viewer. The field values are empty when either expression is used.

Additional Information

Though these typed expressions are validated within the Arcade editor, the Area and Length functions are not supported within the Map Viewer (in styling, pop-ups, and labels) in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6. The supported functions for the Map Viewer for any given release of ArcGIS Enterprise are listed within the Arcade editor itself. If users check the ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6 Map Viewer within the Arcade editor, the Area and Length functions are not listed. Geometric functions - like Area, Length, Distance, Intersects, etc. - are available in the Arcade editor and work with Map Viewer styling, pop-up, and label expressions within ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1.
