When collecting data in ArcGIS Field Maps, New Feature is displayed for the feature layers published from ArcGIS Pro to ArcGIS Online rather than the feature layer's name.

This behavior is expected and performs as designed. The title when collecting a new feature is defined by the formInfo title, or the popupInfo title when no form is defined. In the example layer provided the popup is being converted to define the editing behavior in Field Maps because no form is defined. In this popup configuration the title references the Name attribute value. When collecting a new feature, the Name attribute is blank, so by default Field Maps displays the New Feature title. By entering a value for the attribute Name during data collection in Field Maps, the title dynamically updates to that value.Steps to Reproduce
