When changing the language from English to another language and adding a customized travel mode in the organization settings, the ArcGIS API for Python create_drive_time_areas function returns the error message, "The following travel mode is invalid: {travelMode}."

Workaround

  • Set English-English as the language in ArcGIS Online.
