When calculating summary statistics (Average) during a spatial join process, the double type fields of the resulting attribute table do not keep the original scale as in the input attribute table. This causes the summary data not as accurate as desired.

1) Use the identity tool to identity the point layer to the polygon layer (as identity layer)2) Use the summary statistics tool on the LINEAR field of the resulting identity layer with the FID_Rome as the case item3) Perform a table join based on the FID of the polygon layer and FID_Rome field of the summary table
