Additional Information

This is a known limitation. It is the user's responsibility to cast the data. For example, CAST(7 AS float) / 3.0.

Workaround

  1. Create a new Double type field, called Sample_value.
  2. Calculate the field to 7.00.
  3. Create a new Double type field, called Calc.
  4. Calculate the field to Sample_value/3.
The result is 2.33 and correct.
