When attempting to edit the geometry of a new feature or moving a feature in a web application using the Smart Editor widget, the 'Edit geometry' functionality has to be unchecked and re-checked when 'Enable geometry edit by default' is checked in the general settings of the widget.

The issue is not reproducible.

Workaround

Unchecking and re-checking the box next to 'Edit geometry' to edit and interactively move the feature.
