Bug
When ArcGIS Server's directories are on a different machine and accessed through a shared network, map services copied to the server with a minimum instance of one become disconnected from the data when the machine storing the directories restarts, resulting in blank outputs for Export Map requests and failure for Query requests.

This is a known limitation. There is an existing enhancement request to change this behavior: ENH-000090134.Workaround
Restart the service. If the issue occurs for multiple services, restart the ArcGIS Server. The issue appears to resolve itself when the service is recycled. Publish the service from a registered data store.
