When ArcGIS Server is installed on a Linux machine, making a user connection to ArcGIS Server from ArcGIS Desktop or ArcCatalog with a user from a custom identity store for Java does not show services and folders and returns the error "Failed to compute the privilege for the user '<username>'. Failed to return user store." in the ArcGIS Server logs.

Additional Information

As per the instructions in the ArcGIS Server tutorial, the Jar file containing the Java custom provider implementation must be deployed to the /framework/lib/server/ folder.
