When ArcGIS Online Map Viewer Classic is the primary map viewer, selecting Save Layer after making styling changes on the Visualization tab of a feature layer's item details page in ArcGIS Online presents a 'Save changes?' window continuously loading.

Workaround

  • Select Map Viewer as the primary map viewer prior to making styling changes on the Visualization tab.
  • Manually save changes to the layer before switching to another layer.
