When an Excel spreadsheet is added to ArcMap from the Add Table to Layout menu, only the column headers are displayed.

We do not have plans to address this issue at this time.

Workaround

1. Convert the Excel file to a database (.dbf) file.2. Use the Add Table to Layout menu in ArcMap.
