When an editable layer is created in an ArcGIS Online web map based on the map notes template, the description attribute in the editable pop-up appears behind the Image URL and Image Link URL if it has a longer description.

Workaround

Add multiple lines to the end of the description until a scroll bar appears. Keep adding lines until the sections that need editing appear. Make sure to delete the extra spaces after editing the section.
