When an ArcGIS Survey123 form is published from ArcGIS Survey123 Connect with a specified image size, submitted images larger than 1 MB fail to display a thumbnail in the ArcGIS Survey123 Data tab.

Workaround
Set the image size to unrestricted to prevent the thumbnail from breaking.
