Bug

When an ArcGIS Server map service containing a group layer is added to an ArcGIS Online web map and the symbology is changed to a custom image symbol, the image resolution is poorer and more pixelated than when the layer does not come from a group layer.

Not in the current roadmap.

Workaround

Instead of adding the entire map service, add each layer from the map service individually using the layer ID. For example, add the layer using this URL format:<a href="https://server.domain.com/webadaptor/rest/services/sampleservice/0" target="_blank">https://server.domain.com/webadaptor/rest/services/sampleservice/0</a>
