Additional Information

The edits to the Streets_DailyProfiles table do not create a dirty network dataset status. Thus, the changes are picked up on a rebuild of the network dataset.

Workaround

  • Use the Create Template From Network Dataset tool to generate an XML file, delete the previous network dataset, and use the Create Network Dataset From Template tool to regenerate the network dataset. The travel times are impacted as expected.
  • Add a new cost attribute to the network dataset and delete it. This causes a complete rebuild of the network dataset the next time it is built.
  • For newer versions of ArcGIS Pro, use the Force Full Build option on the Build Network tool to do a complete rebuild of the network dataset.
