Bug

When all layers in a group are removed simultaneously in the Group tab of the Group Layer Properties dialog box, odd numbered layers (first, third, and so on) within the group are removed from the Table Of Contents while the rest remain in the group layer.

Workaround

Right-click the group header and select 'Ungroup'.
