When adding users to an ArcGIS Online organization via email through ArcGIS API for Python, the email received by the invitee contains a repeated email body with incorrect placeholders for the link to establish the password, username, and the organization home page URL.

Workaround

There are two workarounds:

  • Have the user follow the link and instructions of the second half of the invite email. 
  • Invite the user manually through the ArcGIS Online organization's Members page.
