When adding courses in a traverse using the COGO Traversrse tool, a bearing entered as s-29-08-26-w is recorded as s-29-08-26-e and is drawn in the opposite quadrant.

The help topic About measuring systems and units states that the valid format for DMS values is[NS] dd-mm-ss [EW], using this format the value s 29-08-26 e can be entered.
