When accessing the layer in a new or existing map after overwriting a hosted feature service on Arcgis.com, an error occurs: “Item does not exist or is inaccessible”.

Workaround

Option A: Overwrite the hosted feature service and wait 45 minutes to an hour before accessing the layer.OROption B:1. Delete the original service.2. Publish a new service to <a href="http://Arcgis.com" target="_blank">Arcgis.com</a>.3. Replace the old service in the maps with the new service.
