Bug

When a Version 9.3.1 map document containing an inserted image is opened in Version 10.0, then saved as a Version 9.3 copy, and reopened, the following error message is returned in ArcMap 9.3.1: Opening the selected ArcMap document failed.

Additional Information

In ArcGIS 10.1, map documents no longer fail to open. However, a related issue causes the picture to disappear from the layout: NIM065597
