When a shapefile of 'NAD_1983_2011_StatePlane_Puerto_Rico_Virgin_Isls_FIPS_5200' is published to ArcGIS Online and shared to Open Data, the shapefile downloaded from the Open Data site does not have the local projection system preserved even when the Preserve Local Projections setting is turned on.

Additional Information

Not all projections are supported correctly by the Beta capability "Local Projections". We plan to eventually transition to having locally projected data downloads work as expected by downloading directly from ArcGIS Online; however, we cannot provide a time frame for doing this, so we are closing this as "Will Not Be Addressed". Our suggestion is that if "Local Projection" does not work correctly for the customer's projection, the customer should disable that capability. Customers can provide additional downloads for datasets to supply a Shapefile that has correct projection.
