When a pop-up is configured to use an image in ArcGIS Pro and shared to Portal for ArcGIS as a hosted feature layer, the image is not displayed when the pop-up is launched in Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer Classic.

This limitation in Map Viewer Classic (3.x JS SDK) will not be addressed. Map Viewer Classic is now deprecated (See deprecation notice https://support.esri.com/en-us/knowledge-base/deprecation-map-viewer-classic-deprecation-000030662). This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Enterprise Map Viewer (4.x JS SDK). It is recommended to use Map Viewer for all workflows.Workaround
- Configure from Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer Classic that this field is not visible. The issue only occurs when it is published from ArcGIS Pro.
- Open the web map in Portal for ArcGIS Map Viewer. It behaves correctly by hiding the field and displays the image (it is not an option if this is used in the ArcGIS Web AppBuilder app).
