When a point layer is converted to KML, the labels do not preserve the field that is set to display.

Additional Information

This issue is not reproducible in ArcGIS Pro 3.4.

Workaround

1. Create a point layer.

2. Create and complete a field from the attribute table with the necessary labels (in this example, the text field).

3. On the Labeling tab, enable the labels by clicking Label, and select the field for the labels. In this example, text.

4. Right-click the point layer and click Properties. In the Layer Properties window, on the Display tab, choose the field to display from the 'Display field' parameter.

5. On the Analysis tab, click Tools. In the Geoprocessing pane, on the Toolboxes tab, click Conversion Tools > KML > Layer To KML.

6. On the Map tab, click Add Data, and add the KML layer. Labels are displayed on the map.
