When a point feature service is updated using a CSV, the newly updated points do not show up in the map viewer but do show in the attribute table.

Additional Information

This is by design. The Excel file or CSV must contain an X and Y coordinate data field. In this issue, the x and y coordinate fields in the Excel file are not recognized: XField1 YField1

Workaround

1. As the CSV requires having XY coordinate data to be updated, use the same XY data to plot points in ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro.2. Create a new feature class or shapefile from it.3. Compress the shapefile/file geodatabase containing the feature class.4. In ArcGIS Online, when asked to select a file for updating data, select the compressed shapefile/file geodatabase.5. Keep the settings as desired.This will update the data and it will be visible without any issue.
