When a numeric coded value domain is assigned to the symbology value field, unique values are displayed with a feature class icon inside the Create Features window instead of expected symbology.

Additional Information

Cannot reproduce at 10.2.2, or 10.3.

Workaround

In Step 17, make sure to set the option of 'Just the symbols' so that the domain values do not get lost.
