Workaround

This workaround applies only to fields that can be edited in the subtypes table.

1. In ArcGIS Online:

  • Open the hosted feature layer.
  • Export Data and click export to File Geodatabase (FGDB).

2. In ArcGIS Pro:

  • Add the geodatabase to the project.
  • Add the layer with the subtypes to the project.
  • Navigate to the Data tab, open Subtypes, and delete the date from the Default Values.
  • Re-share the layer to ArcGIS Online.

After completing this workflow, the user can re-share the data to ArcGIS Online and successfully edit the hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Pro.
