When a group has a relevant statement in a survey in Survey123 for ArcGIS, predefined text and note fields from appended records to the hosted feature layer associated with the survey do not show in the Survey123 for ArcGIS field app.

This workflow contains questions that are not relevant when the form opens. Questions that are not relevant by definition have a null value; data cannot be loaded into them. In situations like this, it is more appropriate to use the read-only column with the inverse of the relevant function, so that the questions open with existing data but cannot be edited until the condition is met.Workaround
Do not have a relevant statement for a group.
Open the data field in the Survey123 for ArcGIS website and edit the record. From there, the group shows the prepopulated values.
