When a feature layer’s style settings are saved in the new Map Viewer or using the Visualization tab, the style updates do not appear in the Smart Editor widget in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.

Additional Information

The symbology configured using the new Map Viewer 4x may be downgraded when displayed in Map Viewer Classic and ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.

Workaround

Create and save the layer symbology using Map View Classic if the map will be used in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder.
