When a Domain Name System (DNS) public URL is set up for ArcGIS Enterprise, a pop-up window with the following message is returned when opening ArcGIS Experience Builder: "This service is hosted on an ArcGIS Enterprise that the Experience Builder is not registered with. Please provide Client ID to register first. Provide the Client ID for Experience Builder registered in the ArcGIS Enterprise you specify above."

This behavior is as designed. Log any suggestions for improvements on the ArcGIS Ideas site.Workaround
- Configure the web adaptor URLs (portal and server) and configure the federation URLs (service and administrator) as desired. When accessed with this name, the Client ID window is not prompted.
- Ignore and close the window. Click 'Ok' when prompted to sign in to access the web map and the ArcGIS Experience Builder application without issues.
