Description
Web Maps published directly from ArcGIS Pro and consumed in Field Maps are not editable. They must first be saved in ArcGIS Online.
Cause
You may run into this issue when publishing a map directly from ArcGIS Pro (Share As > Web Map). Even if the configuration is set to Editable, when publishing, the Data Editing keyword is not added to the map, which causes editing capabilities in the Field Maps mobile app to be dropped.
Workaround
To work around this, save the map in the Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online:1. Find the Web Map item in the Content page
2. From the overflow menu (...) click Open in Map Viewer.
3. Save the map (no changes are necessary).
4. Force close and reopen Field Maps.
5. Open the problematic map again; editing should be enabled again.
