Bug
Web maps containing Web Map Tile Service (WMTS) basemaps from the OS Maps API fail to load in ArcGIS Field Maps on Android devices when the service uses an access key and is first added as a Content item before being added to the web map.

This issue was not reproducible in-house and will not be addressed at this time. If the issue persists, contact Esri Support Services. This issue is fixed in ArcGIS Field Maps 25.2.Workaround
1.Instead of adding the WMTS as an ArcGIS Online Content item first, add it directly to Map Viewer using ‘Add layer from URL’ when creating a new map.
2.Add the URL as before, appending the custom parameter key.
3.ArcGIS Field Maps on Android devices opens the web map without an error.
