Additional Information
The red selection symbol in the api application is the default selection symbol on that layer. In the AGO Map viewer, we replace the default selection symbol with the selected template's symbol. This is expected behavior.Workaround
Set the symbology from the Visualization tab on the service page.Steps to Reproduce
