Additional Information

The Popup.visible property is true when the popup is querying for results, even if the popup is not open in the view. The PopupViewModel.active property must be used to check if the popup is visible and is not waiting for results. Refer to https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/api-reference/esri-widgets-Popup-PopupViewModel.html#active.
