Vector tile layers created from a hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online fail to package offline areas in ArcGIS Field Maps and the following error message, "Domain=com.esri.arcgis.runtime.error Code=6 "illegal state." is returned.

This issue is not reproducible in the current version of ArcGIS Field Maps. If this issue occurs, please contact Esri Support Services, as additional information is required for further investigation.Workaround
Use the original feature layer instead of the vector tile layer.
