Additional Information

The Feature Vertices to Points tool creates multiple points at a single location when the input is multipatch. This is because multipatches are made up of triangles and the vertices of adjacent triangles are coincident resulting in multiple points at the same location. If you view the data in 2D, you can select all the points with the Move tool. However, the scene view will only display one of the identical points so the Move tool can only select one feature. Once the feature is moved, an existing feature can then be displayed--but this appears to be a duplicated feature as noted in this issue. If you look at the Attribute table, you will see there are more records than features shown on the map. Executing Delete Identical GP tool after running the Feature Vertices to Points GP tool will help in eliminating the duplicate points. There are additional manual ways to remove duplicates--using symbology and/or clean up in 2D.
