Using the Advanced Editing tool Construct Geodetic to create a loxodrome between two points at the same latitude produces a line feature with only two vertices. The new line must contain multiple vertices.

Workaround

After creating the loxodrome, run the Densify tool (ArcToolbox > Editing Tools toolbox) on the line features with the following settings (for this example):- Densification Method: Distance- Distance: 100,000 Meters
