Users cannot add a feature class in ArcMap for editing if the attachment has been enabled on the feature class, even after the feature class owner grants View/Select, and Edit permissions on the feature class to other users.

Workaround

This can be due to the fact that user 'B' does not have permissions on the Test_ATTACH table.Grant VIEW/SELECT and Edit permission on Test_Attach table to user 'B'.Now user 'B' will be able to open the feature class in ArcMap create an attachment.* Upgrade to 10.1 SP 1
