Use DNS to set an alias using FQDN for the web server for ArcIMS. ArcIMS does not recognize the alias as the host when attempting to create a web application in Web ADF Manager. "Host machine is invalid".

Workaround
Use the same configuration as described in the Steps to Repro. Install ArcIMS 9.3 instead of 9.2.--Installed ArcIMS 9.3RC1. --Install the Web ADF for .Net.--Launch and log into the Web ADF Manager.--Click on the option to Create Web Application.--Provide a Name: for the web application.--Click on the Advanced Options.--Fill in the Host: amnoy3577test1.--Use the FQDN for URL of Host: amnoy11.ssldomain.local.This is the alias for amnoy3577test1 set in DNS. Save the web application. The resulting URL will use the FQDN as specified in the previous step.
