Upgrading the highly available ArcGIS Enterprise site from 10.6.1 to 10.8.1 switches the condition type=server-name section from the Internal Load Balancer URL to the External Load Balancer URL of Portal WEB-INF\urlrewrite.xml files.

Workaround

Update the URL in the following XML files from External LB URL to Internal LB URL:

  • \Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\framework\webapps\arcgis#sharing\WEB-INF\urlrewrite.xml
  • \Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\framework\webapps\arcgis#home\WEB-INF\ urlrewrite.xml
  • \Program Files\ArcGIS\Portal\framework\webapps\arcgis#home\WEB-INF\classes\WEB-INF\ urlrewrite.xml
