Updates made to a view in SQL Server management studio show these updates when connected to the geodatabase in ArcGIS Pro and ArcMap but any published services referencing that view does not show these updates.

This is marked As designed.Workaround
- In SQL server management studio, rename the view to view_old.
- Create a new view with the updated expression and provide it with the name of the original view.
- Portal for ArcGIS updates and no publishing required.
