Update the documenation for Dynamic Display to state that when changing the renderer for a layer, the user must call IActiveView.ContentsChanged or IDynamicCacheLayerManager.Invalidate to update the layer correctly.

Workaround

To get this to work in Dynamic Display you must call IActiveView.ContentsChanged or IDynamicCacheLayerManager.Invalidate on the layer.The doc will be updated to include this information.
