Unchecking the visibility of an Update Job Properties step when the table or field is set to 'Date' and the Arcade expression is 'Date()' causes jobs to fail in ArcGIS Workflow Manager 11.3.

Workaround

  1. Use the Today() function in the Arcade expression.
  2. Use a text field type instead.
