Additional Information

This is a known limitation. When users enable privileges when creating a custom role, some dependent privileges may enable automatically. Those dependent privileges are required for the privileges to work as expected. In this case, the privilege for viewing all members content requires the privilege for viewing all members.

Workaround

When creating the group, keep the following setting: 
  • What items in the group can the members update: All items. 
When creating the role, provide the following two parameters under the Administrative privileges: 
  • Members: View all 
  • Groups: View all
