1. Database Views in feature services are QUERY-ONLY. They cannot be edited at all. This is documented here: http://desktop.arcgis.com/en/arcmap/latest/manage-data/using-sql-with-gdbs/views-in-geodatabase.htm 2. Database Views can be used in query only feature services only if they follow the steps in this document on "Views registered with the geodatabase".
