In this release, the ArcGIS for Power BI component has migrated to the native Power BI tooltip system. The native Power BI tooltip ecosystem does not support tooltips for coincidental features. Power BI has its own way of handling and providing tooltips to features on the map and other visuals on the report page. This update also provides ways to use the report page tooltips and Power BI's modern tooltip system. As a result of switching to the ecosystem, Esri adhere to what Power BI provides and follow the guidelines. The goal of this release in general is to ensure the map real estate is opened and the component aligned more with the Power BI ecosystem. There are workarounds documented in this community post to recreate or mimic the JavaScript API (Map Viewer style) of pop-ups.
