Unable to symbolize an empty polygon layer using a field with a domain list on the Visualization tab and the error message, "The layer is not providing enough information to change the drawing style." is returned if the organization uses Map Viewer as the default.

This issue is non-reproducible in the current release of Map Viewer in ArcGIS Online.Workaround
- Open the layer in Map Viewer Classic.
- Configure the layer style.
- Save the layer.
Another workaround is to set Map Viewer Classic as the default for the organization to be able to configure the layer style on the Visualization tab.
