Unable to rematch geocoding results when geocoded using older ArcGIS Online accounts configured with the geocoding service called Esri Geocoder instead of the current World Geocoding Service.

Additional Information

The Rematch Addresses pane has the ability to switch which locator to use for the rematch. The attached workaround is also an option of removing and re-adding the utility service.

Workaround

This account may be created before the name is changed.Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:

  1. Remove the World Geocoder from the utility services in the ArcGIS Online account.
  2. Select Add Geocoder > New Geocoder.
  3. Enter the following URL: (http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/rest/services/World/GeocodeServer)
  4. Enter the name 'ArcGIS World Geocoding Service', and click Save.
